C.N. “Spike” Flanders, a Silver City resident with an appreciation of native American art and jewelry; an interest in Ansel Adams, Frank Lloyd Wright, Grant Wood, as well as other artists and art forms. He is a benefactor to the Southwest Regional Museum of Art and Art Center through the unique gift of his extensive library of art books.
The SWRMA Board of Directors is immensely grateful for his generosity and honored to name this resource after him. The staff will use its extensive resources to research for exhibitions. Although not a lending Library, the C.N. Flanders Art Research Library will be available to the public for use within the Museum.
